Zhuazhou is a traditional 1 year old ceremony in Taiwan and in many Asian cultures. We laid out 12 items that symbolize potential future careers in front of Mikaela for her to grab.  The first 3 items that Mikaela reached for could be an indicative future career or personality types. We won’t know if it’s true till 20 years later. It’s just a fun way to celebrate her birthday. She had so much fun pick out the items she liked. The 3 items she picked were a book(scholar), money(business person/financier) and a calculator(scientist/engineer). Feel free to watch the ceremony in the video.

抓週這天我們準備了祝福籃和抓週籃，媽媽也做了包菜脯米的紅龜粿。抓週前的祝福儀式物品有幾樣圓圓愛吃的，當時又接近中午吃飯時間，她一直想把雞腿吃掉，抓完週後也果然自己把雞腿吃得乾乾淨淨只剩骨頭。

圓圓對於抓週物品籃非常感興趣，什麼都想拿起來玩，她最近喜歡把喜歡的東西往頭上貼，所以看她拿著計算機的相片就知道她有多愛計算機了！她抓的三樣物品分別是 書(學者）、紙鈔(商人/財務相關）、計算機（科學家/工程師)。抓週過程在影片中。
